On Communion Sundays we use the symbols of consecrated bread & wine to remember Jesus.
Also, the Deaconess kick off Ebenezer's Week of Prayer at the altar immediately after Sunday School and before Worship. The following Monday through Friday congregants are assigned to pray on every hour from 7am to 7pm.
Children & Youth Sunday
Second Sunday is casual dress at Ebenezer. Our worship service is designed to reach our young people and provide them with opportunities to be trained and participate in the Worship Service.
Family & Friends Sunday
On 3rd Sundays, during our Worship Service we break out across the sanctuary into Prayer Circles and intercede for our friends & family members.
Sankofa Worship Experience
Sankofa is a African symbol that means "go back and get it." The bird's head is turned backwards yet the egg in it's mouth represents the next generation. Therefore, we use 4th Sundays to acknowledge and celebrate our history & heritage as well as to "stay woke."
Live On Five
On 5th Sundays, we wear our church T-shirts or Polos. The Pastor teaches Sunday School. We often have Guest Preachers and we always have free flow worship. After the Worship Service our church offers a light lunch and FREE computer classes.
